The Joint Seat Allocation Authority has announced the revised schedule for JoSAA counselling 2025 for admissions to BTech programmes in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and other participating engineering institutes. As per the revised JoSAA schedule 2025 available on josaa.nic.in, the last date to respond to query for round 1 is June 24 and JoSAA round 2 seat allotment 2025 will be announced on June 25. Recently, the counselling authorities extended the last date for completing the online reporting process for JoSAA round 1 seat allocation till June 22. Candidates allotted seats in the JoSAA round 1 counselling 2025 can now submit their willingness, upload the required documents, and pay the seat acceptance fee by 5 pm on June 22, 2025. They can also choose freeze, float, or slide options, based on their preferences for the allotted seat.
The JoSAA 2025 is being conducted for admissions to undergraduate engineering programmes at IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Government-funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). Seat allocation is based on candidates' ranks in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and JEE Advanced, their category, and the choices filled during registration.
