NEW DELHI: The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has postponed the State General Graduate Level Combined Competitive Exam (JSSC CGL). The exam was scheduled to be conducted on Sunday, February 4, 2024. Candidates can check the notice of exam cancellation by visiting the official website at jssc.nic.in.
The JSSC commission made this decision in response to the leaked questions of the general knowledge section. The exam was conducted on January 28, 2024. According to reports, the leaked paper contained approximately 70 questions with the answers.
Candidates who applied for the JSSC CGL 2024 exam expressed their concern over the leak of questions in the general knowledge section. It is reported that JSSC applicants held a protest in front of Ranchi's state library and that similar demonstrations also took place in other districts.

The former chief minister of the state, Babulal Marandi, has accused the current administration of playing with the expectations of aspirants and demanded a CBI investigation into the paper leak matter.
As a result of the disturbance, the commission has officially cancelled the examination for the third shift exam conducted on January 28. Considering that the JSSC is under investigation for the claimed paper leak, the commission is expected to issue revised dates for the postponed exams soon.
