Karnataka SSLC 2027 board exam 1 registration begins; schools can apply till November 11

The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has commenced the online registration process for the Karnataka SSLC exam 1, 2027. Schools can register students till November 11, 2026, through the official website, kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

According to the circular issued by the board, schools must complete the Karnataka SSLC registration process through the school login portal using their username and password. The circular provides instructions for entering student details, uploading photographs and signatures, and verifying the information submitted during registration.

How to complete Karnataka SSLC exam 1 registration 2027

• Open the school login portal.
• Log in using the school username and password.
• Enter the required student details and upload the prescribed photographs and signatures.
• Verify the details and complete the registration process.

Karnataka SSLC Exam Registration 2027: Instructions for schools

The circular instructs schools to upload student photographs and signatures in the prescribed JPEG format and size. Schools must also ensure that the information entered in the registration portal is correct.

The board has issued instructions for regular students, repeat candidates and students with disabilities. Schools must enter the required identification details, including PEN and APAR ID, wherever applicable, as specified in the circular.

Schools must also follow the prescribed procedure for entering student details and completing registration through the school login portal. The circular advises schools to refer to the user manual, frequently asked questions (FAQs), flow charts and screenshots available on the official website for guidance.

Karnataka SSLC Time Table 2027: Exam 1 subject-wise date

The board has also released the tentative Karnataka time table for SSLC exam 1, which will be held from March 22 to April 5, 2027. The proposed schedule includes examinations for first language, science, second language, mathematics, third language and social science. SSLC Exam 2 is tentatively scheduled from May 24 to 31, 2027. The board has invited objections to the proposed timetable until October 22, 2026. The tentative timetable lists the following examination dates for major subjects.

Most papers are scheduled from 10 am to 1:15 pm. Second- and third-language papers are generally scheduled from 10 am to 1 pm. Students should check the detailed timetable for subject-specific timings and instructions.
