Karnataka DCET Counselling 2024: Round 2 seat allotment date extended due to server maintenance

Candidates can exercise the option entry process and modify their preferences till August 16 through the official website, keaonline.karnataka.gov.in.

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has extended the Karnataka Diploma Common Entrance Test (DCET) 2024 round 2 seat allotment date due to server maintenance at SDC centre. As per the official notice, the authority will now declare the DCET 2024 round 2 seat allotment result on August 17.

“DCET -2024 Dates extended for the second round of seat allotment. This decision was made due to server maintenance at the SDC centre on August 15,” KEA posted on X.

Candidates who have qualified for the Karnataka DCET entrance exam can select their preferred colleges and courses through the option entry process till August 16. Additionally, candidates can edit or modify their preferences on the official website, keaonline.karnataka.gov.in, up until August 16.

Candidates will be able to pay the seat acceptance fee and download the admission letter from August 19 to 20. If candidates have already paid the fees for the first round, the seat allocated in this round will be adjusted upon the selection of a seat. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institute by August 21.

Karnataka DCET Counselling 2024: Documents required

Candidates can check the list of documents required for the Karnataka DCET counselling 2024 given below.

  • Final printout of the DCET-2024 downloaded application form

  • Original copy of the challan (application fee payment)

  • DCET-2024 admission ticket

  • SSLC or equivalent examination marks card

  • Diploma or equivalent examination marks card for all years, semesters

  • Study certificate counter-signed by the concerned BEO, DDPI (for Karnataka candidates only)

  • Two recent passport-sized colour photographs

  • Rural study certificate (for students claiming rural category reservation)

  • Kannada medium study certificate (for candidates claiming Kannada medium quota)

  • Caste and income certificates (if applicable)
