Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 round 1 allotment result out; choice filling till September 14

Karnataka NEET MDS Counselling 2026: Candidates to submit original documents and download admission orders from September 15 to 17.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) 2026 round 1 final seat allotment result. Candidates who have been allotted seats can exercise their choices from September 11 to September 14, according to the schedule issued by KEA.

The KEA NEET MDS allotment has been conducted based on the seat matrix issued by the Medical Education Department on September 5, followed by the mock and provisional seat allotment processes. Candidates allotted seats in round 1 will have to select one of the four available choices after understanding the implications of each option.

Karnataka NEET MDS 2026 round 1 counselling schedule

Candidates who select Choice 1 or Choice 2 will have to pay the prescribed fees on September 15 and 16. Choice 1 candidates will also be required to submit their original documents at the KEA office in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru, between September 15 and 17 and download their admission order.

Candidates who select Choice 1 will have to complete the fee payment and submit their original documents before reporting to the allotted college. The deadline for reporting is September 18, 2026, by 6 pm.

KEA has advised candidates to carefully understand the implications of each of the four choices before making their selection. The authority has also asked candidates to regularly check its website for updates related to seat availability and the counselling process.

KEA said that academic eligibility, admission to colleges and seat allotments will remain subject to the rules and conditions prescribed from time to time by the National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council of India (DCI), Karnataka government, concerned university and other competent authorities.

As per the notice, participating colleges have been directed to treat Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted holidays as working days to ensure that the counselling schedule is followed within the available time. Candidates have also been advised to regularly follow notices and notifications published on the KEA website.
