The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the final Karnataka NEET PG seat allotment 2025 for round 1. A total of 2,956 candidates with NEET PG All India Rank (AIR) from 7 to 137630 have been allotted clinical, para-clinical, or PD Diploma courses in government and private medical colleges in the state.
The KEA has announced the schedule of activities after the announcement of final allotment results. Four choices have been provided to the seat allotted candidates in the first round. They are required to select any one choice.
Candidates who fail to exercise any one out of four choices within the stipulated time and date will get their seat allotment cancelled and will not be allowed to participate in further rounds. Those who are not allotted seats in the first round need not exercise the choice entry facility as the entered options will be available for reordering in the subsequent rounds.
The KEA reiterated penalties for cancelling seat allotment after the set deadline for each round, which go up to Rs 18 lakh in round 3. As per the Karnataka NEET PG round 1 allotments 2025, top rank holders in the entrance exam mostly opted for MD General Medicine, MD Radiodiagnosis, and MD Dermatology courses. MS Orthopedics was chosen by just one in the top 20.

Candidates who cancel their allotment after fourth round or stray vacancy will have to pay Rs 18 lakh in addition to the full course fee as penalty. Such students will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling, if any, and will be barred from Karnataka NEET PG counselling for three years.
The penalties set by the KEA for cancelling seat allotments in each round of state NEET PG counselling 2025 is given below.

Candidates allotted seats in round 1 will be able to exercise their choices from November 29 to December 2. The facility to download challan from the official website for candidates who opted for choice 1, 2, 3 will be made available from December 1 to 3, as per the Karnataka NEET PG round 1 counselling schedule.
The last date to report at the allotted medical college is 6.30 pm on December 6.
