Try NowNEW DELHI : Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced a special stray vacancy round for NEET UG counselling 2023 to fill vacant seats remaining after the final round allotment.

As per KEA, the following candidates are eligible for the special stray vacancy round:
- Candidates who have not been allotted any medical seats in any of the previous rounds are eligible to participate in medical seats.
- Candidates who have been allotted dental, AYUSH, engineering seats can also apply however, their fee will not be refunded.
In order to participate, candidates will be required to submit the fee in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of the executive director of KEA.

For MBBS seats, students will have to submit DD of Rs 60,000. KEA asked to submit Rs 1,41,446 for option entry for government seats only, Rs 10,92,852 for government and private seats, Rs 22,15,750 for government and private seats of private universities, or Rs 40,12,700 for all seats.
Candidates will have to submit the drafts between November 7 and November 8. The option entry will be available till November 9. The seat allotment result will be announced after 4 pm on November 9. While unallotted candidates will be able to collect their DD the same day, seat allotted candidates will have to generate the admission order and report to the allotted institute by 5pm on November 10.
For dental seats, the counselling process will be conducted on November 10. Candidates will have to bring the fee in the form of DD along with the original documents to the KEA office at 10 am. After registration, the option entry window will be opened from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. The seat allotment will be announced at 3:30 pm on the same day, KEA further informed.
