Karnataka PGCET 2024 answer key out; raise objections by August 8

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued the provisional answer key for Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Karnataka PGCET) 2024. Candidates who register for the exam can download the Karnataka PGCET answer key 2024 through the official website, kea.kar.nic.in.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and first four letters of their name to download the Karnataka PGCET 2024 answer key. Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can challenge it through the official website. The last date to challenge the Karnataka PGCET 2024 answer key is tomorrow, August 8.

When submitting objections, candidates must clearly indicate the subject, version code, and question number. Objections lacking justification, version code, or question number will not be considered. “Supporting documents in PDF format should also be attached. Objections without justification or supporting documents will not be considered,” the official notice read.

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 was conducted on August 4 for candidates seeking admission to Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Computer Applications (MCA) courses.

Karnataka PGCET 2024: Marking scheme, passing marks

The Karnataka PGCET 2024 exam carries 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), with each correct answer carrying 1 mark. There is no negative marking for incorrect answers. To pass the exam, candidates in the general category need to secure at least 50% marks, while candidates from reserved categories including scheduled castes (SC), scheduled tribes (ST), and other backward classes (OBC) need at least 45% marks.
