Karnataka SSLC result declared; Overall pass percentage increased by 4.06%

NEW DELHI, MAY 7: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) has declared the result of Karnataka Secondary School Leaving Certificate or SSLC exam on May 7, 2018. This year, the overall pass percentage in Karnataka Board 10th examination is 71.93. The overall pass percentage has increased by 4.06 % compared to 2017. Girls outperformed boys in the examination, the pass percentage among girls is 78.01% while it is 66.56% among boys. Karnataka SSLC result is available online on their official website – karresults.nic.in. Students have to login with their registration number to check their result.
Reportedly , out of 8,38,088 appeared candidates, 6,02,802 have passed the examination. In 2017, the overall pass percentage was 67.87 out of total 8,77,000 appeared candidates. The pass percentage among boys was 62.42 while it was 74.08 among girls. Maximum pass percentage has been recorded from Udupi district with overall 88.18 % pass percentage. Yashas MS from Sadvidya High School, Mysuru and Sudarshan KS from KS from Holy Child English School, Bengaluru has secured 100 per cent marks.The pass certificate and marksheet will be issued by the board soon.
Candidates can also check Karnataka 10th Board result via SMS. For this, they are required to type KAR10<space>ROLLCODE + ROLLNO and send it to 56263.
Karnataka SSLC 2018 was conducted from March 23 to April 6, 2018. The examination was held across 2,817 examination centres in the state. The exams were held in two sessions, the forenoon session was conducted from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and afternoon session from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.
