New Delhi, July 12: Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has started the option entry for the first round of KCET counselling from July 11, 2018. Eligible candidates can log in by using their credentials and fill the choice of the colleges and courses in the order of preference till July 15 upto 10:30 AM. Candidates can change the options accordingly after the declaration of mock allotment result on July 16. The allotment of seats will be done according to the merit of the candidate, their selection of preferred colleges and courses and availability of seat. The result of real seat allotment will be declared on July 19.

Steps of Option Entry

  • Candidates can click on the Option Entry link available in the official website to login.

  • Candidates must enter the CET number to log in.

  • Candidates are advised to save the entered options using the ‘Save and Submit’ button and also take a print out for future reference.

What after option entry?

The result of mock allotment will be published on July 16 after 5 PM. Candidates will have a provision to change the options as per the preference from July 16 to July 18 upto 2:30 PM. They can add, delete, modify, reorder or alter the options accordingly. The final seat allotment will be released on July 19.
