NEW DELHI: Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will be conducting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2023) today. Ahead of the Karnataka chief minister-designate Siddaramaiah swearing-in ceremony, the KEA has issued a traffic advisory to students appearing in the Karnataka CET 2023 exam. Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre by 8.30 AM and are required to carry the KCET admit card 2023, valid photo ID, black or blue point pen. As per the KCET traffic advisory, in case of traffic congestion or blockage, applicants can show their KCET hall ticket 2023 to the police available nearby so that they can reach the exam centre on time.

KCET 2023 exam day guidelines, dress code

Candidates appearing on May 20 exams are advised to follow the guidelines issued by the officials.

  • Candidates will have to reach the exam centre well before the reporting time.
  • It is mandatory to carry the KCET hall ticket 2023 and a photo id proof, preferably Aadhaar card, PAN card etc.
  • Mobile phones, printed or written material, Bluetooth and any other electronic devices are prohibited inside the exam hall.
  • Aspirants should not to wear-full sleeve clothes, jewellery, watches, thick sole shoes or sunglasses or shirts with big buttons.

As per the KCET bell timings 2023, the first shift will begin from 10.30 AM to 11.50 AM and the second shift from 2.30 PM to 3.50 PM. Candidates will be appearing for Biology in the first shift and mathematics in the second shift. Each paper will carry 60 marks.
