NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2023 exam day-2 was held today, May 21, 2023. KCET 2023 is scheduled for May 20 and 21 while the Kannada language exam will be held on May 22. Today, the KCET 2023 exam was held in two different sessions- 10:30 am to 11:50 am for physics and 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm for chemistry paper.

Candidates are required to carry their KCET admit card 2023 along with a valid ID proof to the exam hall. Students who are appearing for the KCET exam 2023 can download the admit card on the official website – kea.kar.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea.
KCET 2023 exam will be held in four different sessions for physics, chemistry, mathematics, and biology papers. Each paper will be conducted for a duration of 80 minutes and will include multiple-choice questions. The Kannada language paper will be held tomorrow, May 22 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. The KCET 2023 results will be declared on June 12, 2023 on the official website.

KCET 2023 exam for physics begins, and will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM.
Candidates will have to appear only for one KCET exam from biology or maths. However, physics and chemistry questions will be compulsory for all students.
The KCET passing marks 2023 for candidates belonging to general category is 50%, while for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories, it is 40%.

As per the KCET dress code 2023 for female, candidates should avoid wearing rings, clothes with large clothes, scarf, mufflers, any type of jewellery, full sleeve clothes and similar others.

Calculators are not allowed in KCET exam 2023 halls. Apart from this, the officials said that the candidates should not be allowed to carry electronic devices, gadgets, pagers, mobile phones, wireless or books in the exam hall, the KCET exam day guidelines read.
The first bell of the KCET shift 1 will be at 10.20 AM.
Around 2,60,000 students will be appearing for the KEA KCET 2023 exam this year.
Candidates are advised to reach the KCET 2023 exam centre by 8.30 AM.
The KEA has instructed the candidates to reach candidates appearing in the following KCET exam centres to reach by 8.30 AM. It has also issued traffic advisory.
As per the KCET eligibility criteria, candidate should be of the Indian nationality. There is no age limit. They should have passed 2nd PUC or Class 12 or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, and mathematics compulsory subjects from a recognised board.
The KCET 2023 exam for biology paper will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and 2:30pm to 3:50 pm for mathematics papers.
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) have not specified the KCET dress code 2023, however, candidates are advised not to wear full sleeve clothes, jewellery, watches, thick sole shoes or sunglasses. They are advised to wear a simple clothes to the exam centre.

In view of the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and other Ministers at Kanteerava Stadium, on 20.05.2023, appropriate traffic arrangements have been made to ensure smooth flow of traffic.
Candidates appearing in the KCET exam 2023 today will have to carry KCET admit card 2023 along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre for verification purposes.
In a tweet, Karnataka CM designate Siddaramaiah said that, "I request all the candidates to reach the examination centre before 9.30 am and reach out to police for any help".
