The KCET 2023 physics exam has concluded. Students will be appearing for the KCET chemistry paper from 2:30 PM to 3:50 PM. 

In Karnataka, three colleges had 30 seats each in Kannada-medium and there were 60 each in Marathi, Telugu and Bengali. Less than half the seats were filled.

KCET 2023 exam for physics begins, and will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:50 AM.

Candidates will have to appear only for one KCET exam from biology or maths. However, physics and chemistry questions will be compulsory for all students.

The KCET passing marks 2023 for candidates belonging to general category is 50%, while for SC/ST/OBC/EWS categories, it is 40%.

The KEA has released the KCET 2023 admit card on the official website, kea.kar.nic.in. 

The KCET 2023 results will be declared on June 12, 2023 on KEA's official website- kea.kar.nic.in.

Today, May 21, 2023 the KCET 2023 exam will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am for physics and 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm for chemistry papers. 

The KCET 2023 exam day-2 will commence at 10:30 today, May 21, 2023. The exam will be held in different sessions. 

Aspirants should not wear the following: full sleeve clothes, jewellery, watches, thick sole shoes or sunglasses or shirts with big buttons.

On May 21, the exam will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am for physics and 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm for chemistry papers.

Candidates can prepare for the KCET exam 2023 by practicing KCET mock test 2023 which are available at numerous unofficial sites.

The KEA will announce KCET cutoff 2023 after each round of counselling. 

KCET rank will be calculated using board marks and qualifying marks. Candidates can use online kcet rank calculator with board marks to know their predicted rank

The KCET official answer key will be released by KEA on May 25.

The KCET 2023 paper will be in two languages - English and Kannada. The exam is scheduled for May 20 and 21 for English language while the Kannada language exam will be held on May 22.

In the KCET 2023 exam, for every correct answer, one mark will be allotted. There is no negative marking in KCET.

The KCET 2023 questions are from three subjects - Maths, Chemistry and Physics. The paper include 60 questions from each subject.

The KEA KCET Biology paper shift will get over at 11:50 am. The next shift will start at 2:30 pm.

As per the KCET dress code 2023 for female, candidates should avoid wearing rings, clothes with large clothes, scarf, mufflers, any type of jewellery, full sleeve clothes and similar others.

Calculators are not allowed in KCET exam 2023 halls. Apart from this, the officials said that the candidates should not be allowed to carry electronic devices, gadgets, pagers, mobile phones, wireless or books in the exam hall, the KCET exam day guidelines read. 

The first bell of the KCET shift 1 will be at 10.20 AM.

• Candidates will be allowed to enter and be seated in the exam hall after verification of KCET admit cards and valid ID cards.
• After students are seated, the invigilator should distribute the OMR answer sheets only to the candidates present in the exam hall. 
• The candidates have to write their name in capital letters on the OMR answer sheet.
• Afterwards candidates have to carefully enter the CET number and shade the respective circle on the OMR answer sheet.

Around 2,60,000 students will be appearing for the KEA KCET 2023 exam this year.

Candidates are advised to reach the KCET 2023 exam centre by 8.30 AM.

The KEA has instructed the candidates to reach candidates appearing in the following KCET exam centres to reach by 8.30 AM. It has also issued traffic advisory.

As per the KCET eligibility criteria, candidate should be of the Indian nationality. There is no age limit. They should have passed 2nd PUC or Class 12 or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry, and mathematics compulsory subjects from a recognised board.

The KCET 2023 exam for biology paper will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am and 2:30pm to 3:50 pm for mathematics papers.

Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) have not specified the KCET dress code 2023, however, candidates are advised not to wear full sleeve clothes, jewellery, watches, thick sole shoes or sunglasses. They are advised to wear a simple clothes to the exam centre.

In view of the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and other Ministers at Kanteerava Stadium, on 20.05.2023, appropriate traffic arrangements have been made to ensure smooth flow of traffic. 

KCET Exam 2023: Traffic Advisory

Candidates appearing in the KCET exam 2023 today will have to carry KCET admit card 2023 along with a valid ID proof to the exam centre for verification purposes.

In a tweet, Karnataka CM designate Siddaramaiah said that, "I request all the candidates to reach the examination centre before 9.30 am and reach out to police for any help".

After KCET exam 2023 are over, the answer key are expected to be issued at kea.kar.nic.in.

KCET 2023 exam result date is expected to be June 12. 

The official answer key of KCET 2023 is expected to be released on May 25.

Per the KCET exam pattern, the paper will have 180 questions based on the first and second PUC syllabus. The exam will be held in three sessions for 1 hour and 20 minutes for each session.
