NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will commence the offline document verification of the candidates who have qualified Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 and obtained ranks. KEA has released the rank-wise schedule for document verification and list of candidates whose documents are to be verified at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

The offline document verification will be conducted for candidates who have cleared the exam under the eligibility clauses B, C, D, I, J, K, L, M, N, and Z. Students will have to visit the KEA office physically with one set of xerox copies as well as the original documents for verification.

KCET 2024: Documents required for offline verification

Students will be required to submit some of the following documents for verification based on their eligibility:

  • Class 10 and 12 marks cards
  • KCET 2024 admit card
  • Study certificate for having studied both 1st and 2nd PUC in Karnataka issued by the head of the educational institution.
  • Study certificate for either of the parent having studied for at least 7 years in Karnataka from the
  • head of the educational institution where they had studied.
  • Domicile certificate issued by the concerned revenue or municipal authorities certifying that the
  • candidate and his either of parents have resided outside the state of Karnataka as on May 1, 2024. The place of the Issuing authority should correspond to the place of domicile of the candidate or parent.
  • A duly sworn declaration regarding the mother tongue of the candidate
  • A certificate from the employer indicating the parent’s period of employment in the state and also showing that he is transferable anywhere in India.
  • A certificate from employer indicating parent as an employee of union government or an employee of the union or Karnataka state government undertaking or joint sector undertaking.
  • Home town declaration certificate of the parent
  • Certificate showing that the parent is / was a Member of Parliament elected from Karnataka
  • Certificate where the parent belongs to all India service of Karnataka cadre stating that the parent is a member of such All India Cadre.
  • Caste certificate.
  • Income certificate
  • Migration certificate
