CBSE Board 2026 Exam LIVE: 12th engineering graphics, cost accounting exam ends; OSM, paper pattern

From this year onwards, the new penalties will be as follows for the CBSE Board exam 2026:

• If a candidate is found using unfair means in any subject, the result for that subject will be cancelled and cannot be substituted with marks from a sixth or seventh subject for the purpose of being declared “pass.”
• Such cases will be placed under the compartment category, and the candidate will be required to reappear in the same subject.
• These rules will be uniformly applicable to all Class 10 CBSE examinations starting in 2026.

The CBSE Board conducted the Class 12th Engineering graphics, cost account, Bharatanatyam-Dance, Kuchipudi-Dance, Odissi-Dance, Manipuri-Dance and Kathakali-Dance exam today

Students must secure at least 33% of the total marks to pass in CBSE 12th and 10th examinations.

CBSE’s decision to expand on-screen marking for Class 12 board examinations starting in 2026 has sparked a debate among parents, students, and teachers. In official documents outlining digital evaluation mock drills and live webcast procedures, the board detailed its new system of scanning answer sheets and assessing them on secure digital platforms such as CBSE Onmark (cbse.onmark.co.in), replacing the traditional practice of physically handling answer scripts at evaluation centres.

CBSE board will has begun the Class 12th exam for Engineering graphics, Bharatanatyam-Dance, Kuchipudi-Dance, Odissi-Dance, Manipuri-Dance, Kathakali-Dance, Horticulture, Cost accounting.

CBSE board will conduct Class 10th exams for Beauty & Wellness, Marketing & Sales, Multi-Skill Foundation Course, and Physical Activity Trainer. The exam will be held from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm for Class 10th students.

CBSE has implemented on-screen marking for evaluating Class 12 board exam answer sheets. However, it has clarified that Class 10 answer scripts will continue to be assessed in the traditional physical mode.

Before the start of the formal evaluation process, the first day will be set aside for reviewing the marking scheme, carrying out mock assessments to minimise discrepancies in scoring, and training evaluators to use the digital platform effectively.

CBSE is planning to develop competency-based assessments for their skill subjects according to the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) standards. CBSE will also introduce semiconductor technology as a skill subject for Classes 8-12 students. The artificial intelligence course from Class 3 onwards will be launched this year itself.

The CBSE board will conduct 12th exams till April 10, and 10th exams will be held twice a year, first phase till March 10, and the second phase will begin on May 15 to June 1.

Students are advised to carry the admit cards issued by CBSE. Without admit cards, students will not be permitted to sit in the examination.

The CBSE has introduced several major reforms in the board exam pattern, assessment, and re-evaluation process. The board exams will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will be held from February 17 to March 11, while the second will take place from May 5 to 20.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the CBSE Class 10 board exam tomorrow for automotive subject and subject engineering graphics for Class 12 board exams 2026.

The CBSE Class 12 physical education paper was fair and appropriate for grade 12 students. Some of the multiple choice questions required higher order thinking skills.  The overall standard of the paper remained balanced and reasonable.

The CBSE has concluded the Home Science examination at 1:30 PM. The difficulty level of the CBSE 2026 paper was moderate.

The CBSE On-Screen Marking (OSM) is a digital evaluation system, where scanned answer sheets are checked online rather than physically. The method is introduced for the Class 12 board exams starting in 2026. The CBSE On-Screen Marking system is aimed at improving efficiency, transparency, and speed in the evaluation process.

The CBSE 2026 Class 10th Home Science exam ongoing today, i.e., February 18, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. No student will be allowed to enter the exam centre without the CBSE 10th hall ticket.

The CBSE will soon publish the class 10th date sheet 2026 for Phase 2 after the announcement of the Phase 1 results. 

To pass the CBSE 10th board exams, students must score at least 33 percent in all subjects and a minimum aggregate of 33 percent.

The Board will soon begin the Class 12th Physical Education examination at 10:30 am and will conclude the paper at 1:30 pm. Students need to arrive at least 30 minutes before the time to avoid inconvenience.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will administer the Class 12th Physical Education paper today, i.e., February 18, 2026, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Students appearing for the examination are advised to reach the exam centre before 10:00 AM.

Students are advised to to carry the below mandatory documents for  physical education paper;

• Admit Card: Carry a printed copy of the 2026 admit card bearing the school principal’s signature. Soft copies will not be permitted.

• School ID: Regular candidates must bring their official school identity card for verification.
