NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will close the registration window for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2024 counselling for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses today, August 19. Candidates who qualified the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) 2024 can apply for the KCET 2024 counselling through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
As per the schedule, the KCET 2024 registration window will remain active till 10 am. Candidates who did not attend document verification between August 7 to 9 and August 12 to 15, can also appear for verification on August 19 with all the required documents.
The examination authority has instructed OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), PIO (Persons of Indian Origin), NRI (Non-Resident Indian) candidates, foreign nationals, NRI wards, and candidates in categories 2 to 8 who applied to St John Medical College, Bangalore, to visit the KEA office in person on August 19 between 11 am to 2 pm.
They must bring all relevant original documents for verification according to their eligibility criteria. KEA has stated that this is the final opportunity for candidates to register.
Following the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), all counselling rounds, including stray vacancy rounds, will be conducted online by KEA. Therefore, all UG NEET 2024 qualified candidates must register online and complete the document verification process with KEA to be eligible for admission to UG Medical, Dental, and AYUSH courses in Karnataka.

The KCET exam is held for admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, agriculture, and pharmacy at institutions in Karnataka. The Karnataka Common Entrance Test was conducted on April 18 and 19, with two shifts: from 10.30 am to 11:50 am and from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
