The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2025 result today, May 24. Higher education minister MC Sudhakar declared the result at the KEA office. The KCET 2025 result link will be made available by KEA at 2 pm. KCET Result 2025 LIVE

A total of 3,30,787 students registered for CET 2025. Out of them, 3,11,996 appeared for physics, 3,11,767 for chemistry, 3,04,170 for mathematics, and 2,39,459 for biology. As per the official notice, the subject expert panel decided to award grace marks for one question in physics, accepted two correct answers for two questions in chemistry, and two correct answers for one question in biology.
"The CET ranks are generated by considering the higher of the two scores in the second PUC examinations conducted by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board. Marks of CBSE and ICSE board students who studied in Karnataka were also directly collected online this time and used for ranking purposes," the official notice said.
Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check their KCET results through the official website, karresults.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. To access the KCET 2025 result, candidates are required to enter their application number and password.
The exam authority will also issue the KCET scorecard and rank based on the candidate's marks in the KCET exam and the marks obtained in the qualifying exam, taken in equal proportions. The KCET scorecard carries details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks, total marks obtained, rank, and qualifying status.
Candidates declared qualified in the KCET exam will be invited to participate in the counselling process. During counselling, candidates will have to register online, fill in their choice of courses and colleges, verify their documents, and take part in seat allotment rounds.

KEA announced the KCET result on April 28 for the Kannada language exam held for Horanadu and Gadinadu candidates. Out of 1,520 candidates who appeared, 1,064 were declared pass while 455 did not secure the minimum qualifying marks.
