For the first time, KEA verified original documents before announcing results. Verification was done online using SATS and RD databases. Candidates who could not be verified online had their documents checked at PU colleges. Verification for candidates under special categories and quotas was conducted in person at the KEA office. Around 3 lakh documents have been verified and the data is ready for application entry.

In the Karnataka CET 2025, a total of 3,30,787 candidates registered, out of which 3,11,991 appeared for the exam. Of those who took the test, 2,75,677 candidates qualified for admission to professional courses across Karnataka.

The KCET call centre now runs with 10 dedicated phone lines and operates daily from 8 am to 8 pm, including weekends. Earlier, it functioned only during office hours with just five lines, which was insufficient to address the volume of student queries.

The top three rank holders for Veterinary in CET 2025 are Rakshitha V P with 140.22 merit marks, Nandan T S with 138.50 merit marks, and Bhuvaneshwari with 137.44 merit marks. In the Veterinary Practical category, the highest ranks are held by Akshay Rajendra Tasildar with 136.56 merit marks, followed by Deekshith K P with 135.94 merit marks, and Navya Kotennavar with 135.22 merit marks.

The KEA will conduct document verification for specially-abled candidates at its office from June 3 to 6, with medical professionals present to confirm eligibility.

Seats for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses will be allotted based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2025 scores. The top three rank holders in the BNYS programme for Karnataka CET 2025 are Harishraj DV, Aathreya Venkatachalam, and Saphal S Shetty. Harishraj DV and Aathreya Venkatachalam both secured 99.39 merit marks and studied at Narayana E Techno School in Yelahanka and National Public School in Bangalore, respectively. Saphal S Shetty obtained 99.28 merit marks and attended Expert PU College in Mangalore.

BNYS stands for Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences. It is an undergraduate degree programme focused on natural medicine and yoga therapy.

KEA prepared the merit list based on revised final answer keys approved by subject experts. One grace mark was awarded in physics, two questions in chemistry and one in biology were accepted with two valid answers each.

The KEA is yet to announce the KCET 2025 result. Karnataka higher education minister MC Sudhakar was expected to announce the KCET 2025 results at 11:30 am; however, there has been no further update on the result.

The KCET 2025 exam held on April 16 saw 3,21,895 registered candidates, with 3,11,777 appearing for the Physics and Chemistry papers. Statistics for the Mathematics and Biology papers, scheduled for April 17, will be published online.
