KCET Counselling 2024: Options entry for medical, dental, AYUSH courses from August 9; schedule

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has issued the schedule for KCET counselling 2024 for admission to medical, dental, and AYUSH courses through NEET UG 2024. Accordingly, eligible candidates will be able to enter web options for these programmes from August 9. The registration portal for medical counselling will open soon on the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

“Portal will be enabled shortly for registration to the candidates who have not registered for Medical, Dental and AYUSH courses. However, the candidates who have already registered for UGCET-2024 have to enter the UG NEET 2024 Roll Number in the application portal,” said KEA in an official notice.

Eligible candidates will be able to enter the options for medical, dental and AYUSH courses in the same option entry portal along with engineering courses. This year, the exam authority will publish two mock allotments, one for engineering and other courses and another for medical courses.

“For the benefit of the candidates, action will be taken to allot the seats simultaneously for medical, dental, AYUSH, engineering, architecture, yoga and naturopathy, veterinary, farm science, B-pharma, Pharm-D, BSc (Nursing) etc. seats, this allotment will be the second mock seat allotment and common mock results will be published for medical and engineering courses,” KEA added.

After publication of second mock seat allotment results, candidates will be allowed again to add, modify, re-order or delete the options. Thereafter, KCET 2024 first round final seat allotment results will be published.
