NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced that the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET 2024) round 1 mock allotment results at the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Candidates who have registered and filled choices before the deadline will be able to check and download the KEA KCET mock allotment results by logging in through the candidate portal. Through the KCET counselling, admission into various programmes including engineering, architecture, Yoga, naturopathy, BPharm. The priority of options entered by the candidate for the KCET first round will remain the same for all the rounds of seat allotment. Candidates will not be allowed to enter options again for any other rounds.

However, now that the mock allotment results are out, candidates will be allowed to add, delete, modify or rearrange the options. They will also be able to modify after the respective round of seat allotment. The finally saved options will be used for seat allotment. As per the schedule, the KCET round 1 seat allotment results 2024 will be declared on August 21. Students will be allowed to make changes in the order of preference by August 11.

Options after KCET seat allotment results 2024

Candidates will have four choices after the KCET round 1 seat allotment results are declared.

Choice 1 - Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat, will have to pay the fees, download the admission order and report to college. They will not be eligible for other rounds of any discipline if allotted the first preference.

Choice 2 - Candidates who are satisfied, but wish to participate in the second round KCET counselling 2024 by holding the allotted seat are not required to join the college but wait for the second round.

Choice 3 - Those who are not satisfied, but wish to participate in the subsequent round without holding any seat will also be able to choose the option to continue.

Choice 4 - They will also have an option to exit from the allotment process.

Those who choose choice 2 and 3 will be able to alter or delete or modify or rearrange the options. Finally saved options will be used for seat allotment, the information bulletin said.
