KEA issues advisory for UGCET 2025 option-entry facility after technical failure causes panic

Try NowKarnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued an advisory for candidates participating in the option entry process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET or UGCET) 2025. As per the official statement, the option entry facility is currently facing technical glitches, leading to delays in the process.
The Karnataka UGCET 2025 counselling process is underway. Qualified candidates can fill in the options through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
The login credentials to access the KCET or UGCET 2025 option-entry facility include candidate’s login or registration number and password.
KCET counselling 2025: Highlights
Karnataka UGCET counselling is for admission to undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, architecture, AYUSH and allied health sciences, and agriculture. Students who appeared for the UGCET exam must register for counselling. Students who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) can also register for UGCET counselling for medical admissions to Karnataka colleges.
All students who have registered for counselling and choice-filling have to appear for a document verification process. Candidates of Karnataka domicile have to appear for physical verification, while non-Karnataka candidates can download the verification slip from their portals.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to access the UGCET 2025 option entry facility.
- Click on “UGCET 2025 first round option entry link”
- Either scan the QR code or enter your CET registration number.
- Keep the choices prepared in advance and log out safely after choice-filling
In the light of glitching KEA servers, the counselling schedule for Round 1 has been revised, extending the time for choice-filling.
