KEA issues KCET 2025 schedule, bell timings for April 16, 17 exams
The forenoon shift for the KCET 2025 exam will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, while the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has issued the time table and schedule of bell timings for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2025 (KCET). As per the official notice, the CET 2025 exam will be held on April 16 and 17 in dual shifts.
The forenoon shift for the KCET 2025 exam will be held from 10:30 am to 11:50 am, while the afternoon shift will take place from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm.
The authority will conduct the KCET 2025 exam for Kannada language today from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
The KCET 2025 exam for physics and chemistry subjects will be held on April 16, whereas the test for mathematics and biology subjects will take place on April 17, as per the official notice.
Registered candidates can download their KCET admit card 2025 through the official website at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

KCET 2025 Bell Timings
The KEA has issued the bell timings and schedule for the KCET 2025 exam for morning and afternoon shifts as follows:
First Bell
Morning shift first bell will be at 10:20 am for physics, and mathematics subjects, while afternoon bell will be rung at 2:20 pm for chemistry and biology subjects.
- Candidates will enter and occupy their seats in the examination hall, upon showing their CET-2025 admission ticket and valid identity card.
- The Invigilator will verify the photograph printed on the admission ticket, identity card and nominal roll.
- OMR answer sheets to the candidates present in the examination hall will be distributed by the invigilators.
- Candidates have to write their name in CAPITAL LETTERS on the OMR Answer Sheet. They also have to enter their CET number and shade the respective circle on the sheet.
- Candidates should verify the CET No. written on the OMR answer sheet with that of the CET number printed on the admission ticket.
Second bell at 10:30 am and 2:30 pm
- Sealed question paper packets will be distributed in the examination hall.
- The invigilator will obtain signatures of any TWO candidates present in the examination hall, in the space provided on the packet.
- Question paper distribution will be done at 10:35 am and 2:35 pm for both shifts respectively.
- Candidates should write the version code of the question booklet and shade the respective circle on the space provided on the answer sheet.
- They should also affix their signature on the bottom portion of the sheet, in the box provided.
- Candidates have to write the question booklet version code & serial number on the nominal roll and affix their signature on the nominal roll.
- Until the third bell is heard, the candidates should not be allowed either to look inside the question booklet or to start answering on the OMR Answer Sheet.
Third bell at 10:40 am and 2:40 pm
- Candidates should be allowed to open the question booklet and to start answering on the OMR Answer Sheet.
- After this bell, the candidates will not be allowed either to enter OR to leave the examination hall, till the completion of the session.
Fourth bell at 11:10 am and 3:10 pm
- This is a first caution bell where the invigilator will inform all the candidates that half an hour of examination has been completed.
Fifth bell at 11:30 am and 3:30 pm
- It's a second caution bell where invigilators will inform that candidates that twenty minutes are remaining for the examination to end.
Sixth bell at 11:45 am and 3:45 pm
- Here, the invigilators will announce that only five minutes are remaining for the examination to end.
Seventh Bell at 11:50 am and 3:50 pm
- The bell will notify the end of the examination and soon after the bell, the invigilators will first ensure that all the candidates have stopped answering on the OMR answer sheet. They will collect the OMR answer sheets as it is from the candidates.
- The Invigilator will return the bottom sheet replica (CANDIDATE COPY) to the respective candidates, along with their question booklets.
