KEA UGNEET 2026: Document verification for new medical applicants from August 4; slot booking starts tomorrow

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) announced the document verification (DV) date for the new candidates who have applied for medical, dental, and AYUSH courses under UGNEET 26. As per the official notice, applicants can attend the document verification from August 4 to 8, 2026 at the KEA Office, 18th Cross, Malleswaram, Bengaluru.

Before appearing for the DV, applicants must book a slot through the link which will be activated tomorrow, August 2 on the KEA website. Only aspirants who have successfully booked the slot will be allowed to undergo the verification process.

Applicants who have a verification slip can re-download it again by using their NEET roll number and newly registered applicants who have not claimed any reservation do not need to attend document verification.

UGNEET 2026: Who is eligible for DV?

According to the official notice, the following applicants are required to attend DV:

  • Candidates who have qualified for UGNEET 2026, registered with KEA, provided NEET roll number in the application and belong to any of the required categories.
  • Applicants claiming NRI Ward, NRI or Foreign National categories.
  • Aspirants who have registered for CET 2026 but could not download the verification slip due to pending verification of Kannada, Rural, Linguistic Minority, or Religious Minority claims.
  • Newly applicants who are claiming reservations

Guidelines for St John's medical college applicants

Aspirants who are claiming admission under St John's medical college in category RC-2 to Category RC-8 must attend DV at the medical college council room, ground floor, St John's Medical College, Koramangala, Bengaluru. However, applicants who have applied under category RC-1 and Category RC-9 no need to attend the DV.
