KEAM 2024 exam date revised; to be held from June 5, marking scheme

NEW DELHI: The Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala has advanced the exam date for Kerala Engineering, Architecture, and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) 2024. As per the official notice, the entrance exam for engineering aspirants will now be held from June 5 to June 9.

The exam will be conducted in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. For pharmacy aspirants, the KEAM 2024 exam will take place on June 9 from 3.30 pm to 5 pm. Earlier, the KEAM 2024 exam was scheduled to be held from June 1 to June 9 to two shifts.

As per the official notice, engineering exam candidates are required to report to the examination centre at 7:30 am, while pharmacy exam candidates must report at 1 pm. The KEAM 2024 admit card will be available to download on the official website from May 20, 2024.

Candidates will have to use their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the KEAM 2024 admit card. The KEAM 2024 result will be declared on or before June 20, 2024. The rank lists for engineering, architecture, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) courses will be published before July 20, 2024.

The entrance exam is being organized for students aspiring to join programs in engineering, architecture, ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, agriculture, forestry, MBBS, BDS, homoeopathy, cooperation and banking, climate change and environmental science, veterinary, fisheries, biotechnology, and pharmacy.

KEAM 2024 exam pattern, marking scheme

The KEAM 2024 exam will be conducted only in offline mode. The paper will be divided into two parts: paper 1 for physics, chemistry, and paper 2 for mathematics. It will consist of a total of 120 questions, carrying 480 marks across both papers. Each paper will have a duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes. Candidates will be awarded four marks for every correct answer, while one mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
