Kerala KTET 2024 result for April session out on ktet.kerala.gov.in; download final answer key

NEW DELHI: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPV) has declared the result for the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2024. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can check their KTET 2024 result by visiting the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in.

Candidates will have to log in with their registration number, category, and date of birth to download the Kerala KTET 2024 result. Candidates can also download the final answer key for the KTET exam 2024 through the official website. The institute conducted the KTET 2024 exam for the April session on June 22 and 23. The exam was held in two shifts- from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

The KTET 2024 scorecard will carry details such as the candidates' names, registration numbers, category, subject-wise scores, overall score, and qualifying status. The KTET exam is conducted to assess candidates' eligibility for recruitment as teachers for Classes 1 to 10 and language teachers in schools across Kerala.

What after KTET result 2024?

Candidates who have been shortlisted by the conducting board will receive the KTET certificate 2024. To obtain the certificate, all shortlisted candidates must undergo a document verification process. Once the document verification is complete, candidates will be called for an interview at the schools where they applied for teaching jobs in Kerala. Some of the documents required for the document verification round are:

  • Previous year's mark sheets

  • Educational certificates

  • Caste and category certificates

  • Identification proof, such as Aadhar card or PAN card

  • Passport-size photographs

The exam was held for four categories - category 1, category 2, category 3, and category 4. The Category 1 exam is for those who want to teach lower primary Classes 1 to 5, and the Category 2 exam is held for those who want to teach upper primary Classes 6 to 8. The Category 3 exam is conducted for those candidates who want to teach high school Classes 9 to 10, and the Category 4 exam is for those who want to teach Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu in high schools.
