Download NowThe Directorate of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala (DHSE) has announced the exam date for the Kerala board Class 11 (First Year) and Class 12 (Second Year) Higher Secondary exam 2026. As per the announcement, the Kerala +2 board exam 2026 will be held from March 6.

The exam will commence with physics, sociology, anthropology subjects followed by Home Science, Gandhian Studies, Philosophy, Journalism, Computer Science, Statistics on March 7. The exam will conclude with the part 1 English subject on March 28. The Kerala board Class 11 exam 2026 will be conducted from March 5 to March 27.
According to the notification, the Kerala second-year higher secondary examination (Plus Two) will have Continuous Evaluation (CE), Practical Evaluation (PE), and Terminal Evaluation (TE) components. The First Year (Plus One) Examination will include CE and TE only. Kerala Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination will be conducted from March 5 to March 30, 2026.
Kerala Plus Two Time Table 2026: Practical from January 22
Students will have to undergo CE in all subjects and maintain a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to appear for the examinations. The practical exam for Class 12 will begin on January 22, 2026, while the admit cards will be issued from January 15, 2026.
For Class 11 students, admit cards will be available from February 16, 2026. The last date for submitting Kerala plus one and plus two application forms is November 25, 2025.
Kerala Class 11, 12 Board Exams 2026: Application fee
Under the fee structure notified, candidates appearing for the Kerala Class 11, 12 board exam 2026 are required to pay Rs 40 as certificate fee in addition to the regular examination fee. Students opting for additional mathematics (Commerce) through SCOLE Kerala will have to remit Rs 500 per theory paper, along with the certificate fee of Rs 40.
Regular students appearing for the examination for the first time are exempted from paying examination fees, while private and supplementary candidates are required to remit the prescribed fee through their institutions.
