KIITEE 2021: Guidelines for online proctored exam

NEW DELHI: Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology will conduct the KIITEE exam 2021 for phase 1 from May 25 to May 27 in remote proctored mode. The institute has also released important guidelines for KIITEE 2021 online remote proctored examination.
The KIITEE exam was conducted in remote proctored mode in 2020 due to the first wave of Covid-19 pandemic. KIIT has again decided to conduct the KIITEE exam in remote proctored mode this year. For the safety of students, KIIT has set up some guidelines which every candidate must follow and any candidate who is found to violate these rules will be disqualified from the examination.
KIITEE 2021 - Requirements
Candidates should ensure that the system in which they are going to attend the KIITEE 2021 examination must have the following set-up.

Candidates must have a system which consists of pentium IV/ dual core, 1 GB RAM or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15 colour monitor, keyboard, mouse, microsoft windows 7 and above, chrome browser, antivirus and webcam.

Candidates should have a stable internet connection of at least 512 KBPS (1 MBPS is preferred) available throughout the whole test.

The room where candidates will take the test must have proper light and no other person shall enter the room during the test.

Candidates should know that the invigilator can take a look of the room in which you are giving the exam anytime.
KIITEE 2021 - Things students should abstain from

Candidates should not take any help from others and should not be reading out anything loudly.

Do not wear any bluetooth device while taking the KIITEE exam 2021.

Do not let anyone enter the room in which you are giving the test and do not play TV, music or radio in the background.

Candidates must not leave the work station while attending the entrance exam.
KIITEE 2021 - Exam day guidelines

Candidates are advised to take the demo-test before attending the main test.

Candidates can login to the KIITEE exam 2021 using the details provided in the admit card.

The url or link for examination will be available on the official website - kiitee.kiit.ac.in - on the day of the test.

Candidates must be present at the computer/ laptop/ mobile 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the entrance exam.

For every correct answer, candidates will be awarded 4 marks and for every incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted.

Only 1 question will appear on the screen, either the candidates answer the question or skip it. It must be noted that once moved to the next question, candidates cannot come back to the previously answered/ skipped questions.

The entrance test will automatically close once the scheduled time of 120 minutes is over or all questions have been answered/ skipped.

The remote proctor will send a warning if he finds you doing anything suspicious.
The KIITEE 2021 admit card was released on May 23 on the official website of KIIT. Candidates are suggested to download the KIITEE admit card 2021 immediately and not wait till the examination day.
