KSET 2024 registration ends tomorrow; eligibility, passing criteria

NEW DELHI: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will close the registration process for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024 tomorrow, August 28. Eligible candidates should fill out the KSET 2024 application form through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

As per the official notification, the KSET 2024 exam is scheduled to be held on November 24. The exam will be held in a single shift from 10 am to 1 pm. Earlier, the last date to fill out the KSET 2024 application form is August 22.

Candidates from the general category, including Category IIA, Category IIB, Category IIIA, Category IIIB, or those from another state, will have to pay Rs 1,000 to register for the KSET 2024. For Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD), category I, and transgender candidates, the application fee is Rs 700. The last date to fill out the KSET 2024 application form is August 30.

KSET Application 2024: Eligibility criteria

Age limit: There is no upper age limit for KSET 2024.

Educational Qualification: Candidates who have obtained at least 55% marks in the general category, or 50% marks for SC, ST, PwD, transgender, and OBC, including Category I, Category IIA, Category IIB, Category IIIA, and Category IIIB, in a Master's Degree or an equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in New Delhi, are eligible to apply for KSET in the subjects they have opted for.

To qualify for the KSET 2024 exam, candidates from the general category must secure a minimum of 40% aggregate marks. Those from SC, ST, Category I, Category IIA, Category IIB, Category IIIA, Category IIIB, PwD, and transgender categories need to obtain at least 35% aggregate marks in Paper I and Paper II.
