NEW DELHI: The Kerala Pareeksha Bhavan (KPV) will issue the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (KTET) 2024 admit card today, June 10. The KTET 2024 exam is scheduled to take place on June 22 to 23. The KTET 2024 will be held in two shifts- from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

Candidates who registered for the exam can download the KTET 2024 admit card by visiting the official website, ktet.kerala.gov.in. Candidates will have to enter their login credentials such as registration number and password to download the KTET 2024 admit card.

The Kerala KTET 2024 admit card carries details such as the candidate's name, roll number, photograph, and signature. Additionally, it provides exam details such as the date, time, and venue of the examination, along with important instructions to be followed on the exam day. Candidates should carry their KTET 2024 admit card along with any original government ID such as Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID, driving licence, etc.

KTET 2024 exam pattern

The Kerala KTET exam 2024 is organised for four categories: 1, 2, 3, and 4. The exam determines candidates' eligibility for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 10 and for language teaching roles in Kerala schools.

Category 1 is conducted for aspiring teachers of lower primary Classes 1 to 5, while Category 2 targets those who wish to teach upper primary Classes 6 to 8. Category 3 is designed for candidates aiming to teach high school Classes 9 to 10, and Category 4 is intended for prospective high school teachers of Arabic, Hindi, Sanskrit, and Urdu.

The KTET 2024 exam will be conducted offline, for 150 minutes. Each paper includes 150 multiple-choice questions specific to the relevant category. Each paper is scored out of 150 marks, with one mark awarded per correct answer and no penalties for incorrect answers.
