LSAT—India announces an additional online test date of 26 July
New Delhi: The Law School Admission Council (LSAC) announced today that the LSAT—India would be administered on an additional day, on July 26 as well.
This is to help the candidates impacted by the postponement or cancellation of various law entrance exams in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
An official statement from LSAC said that the registration date has also been reopened from 12 noon on July 7 to 11.59 pm on July 10.
This is “to provide students another opportunity to sign up for the first online LSAT—India test”, the statement said.
The online LSAT—India exam will still be administered from July 19, using the remote proctored online test delivery system to allow candidates to test from the safety and comfort of their homes.
The test will now be in 3 slots over 5 days, with an additional day of July 26 added for new law aspirants.
“We urge students wishing to take the online LSAT—India from the comfort and security of their own home to register as soon as possible at www.discoverlaw.in and no later than 10 July,” the statement said.
The LSAT—India is a law school admission test for multiple colleges that is being delivered in July for safe online testing during the COVID-19 emergency.
LSAT—India is a standardised test adopted as an admission criterion by multiple law colleges across India. It measures skills that are considered essential for success in law schools.
