The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra will conduct a single Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) and undergraduate management and computer courses including Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS) and Bachelor of Business Management (BBM).

The new CET, titled MAH–BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM–CET 2026, will replace the two separate CETs that were earlier conducted for BHMCT and BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM courses. The State CET Cell stated that a unified examination is suitable as these courses share similar eligibility criteria.

“This decision has been taken as the above courses share common eligibility criteria, making a unified examination suitable and beneficial for all candidates,” the official notice said.

As per the tentative Maharashtra CET exam schedule 2026, the MAH–BHMCT/BCA/BBA/BMS/BBM–CET 2026 will be conducted from April 28, 2026, to April 30, 2026. The exam will be held for a duration of 120 minutes. Earlier, both exams were conducted separately with a duration of 90 minutes each.

The CET cell informed that the syllabus and other exam details will be published on the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org, for reference by candidates, parents, and institutions.
