NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has extended the registration date for MAH LLB 5-year, BA, BSc-BEd 4-year CET exams 2024 for the third time. Candidates who have not applied till now should fill out the MAH CET 2024 application form by April 15 at cetcell.mahacet.org.

“The online application registration schedule and information brochure for this examination have been made available on the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell,” the official notice read.

The registration for MAH CET LLB (Bachelor of Laws) 5-year and Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science-Bachelor of Education (BSc-BEd) 4-year commenced on January 18. Subsequently, the commission announced the first extension on March 10, followed by the second extension on March 30. The commission stated that no additional extensions would be provided after April 15.

The MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024 exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes for the academic session 2024-25.

MAH CET 2024: Eligibility criteria

As per the eligibility criteria for the MAH LLB 5-year CET 2024, candidates are required to complete Class 12 or its equivalent from a recognized board.

For unreserved (UR), economically weaker section (EWS), and other Maharashtra state (OMS) categories candidates, a minimum aggregate of 45% marks is necessary, while scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) candidates need to secure at least 40% marks.

Vimukta Jati and nomadic tribes (VJNT), scheduled castes (SC), and other backward classes (OBC) candidates are required to have obtained a minimum of 42% marks.

The application fee for open, EWS, OMS, all India candidates regardless of category, and Jammu and Kashmir migrant candidates is Rs 1,000. Candidates from backward class categories including SC, ST, VJ/DT- NT (A), NT-1 (B), NT-2 (C), NT-3 (D), OBC, and SBC are required to pay Rs 800. Orphan and transgender candidates also have to make a fee payment of Rs 800.
