The State CET Cell - Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra has successfully conducted day 2 of the MAH CET 2021 exam today. Candidates can now check the MAH CET 2021 exam analysis for September 17 day 2 as per the student's reaction. MAH CET exam analysis 2021 of day 2 - Key Highlights
Quantitative Aptitude
-
There were about 50 questions on Quantitative Aptitude in the second slot of CET 2021. That there are no questions in the data interpretation as like day 1 MAH CET 2021.

Same as the day 1 MAH CET exam, there are no questions about the Approximations, Quantitative Comparison, and Data Sufficiency of a large deviation from past years.

The difficulty level of the questions on QA was easier as compared to the day 1 MAH CET paper.

In this section, the questions on Quantitative Aptitude were dominated by Arithmetic questions. There were about 25 questions on Arithmetic and arithmetic subtopics.
Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension

The VARC section consists of 45 to 50 questions with about 30 Verbal Ability questions and around 15 Reading Comprehension questions. Overall, the Verbal Ability/ Reading Comprehension section was easier than the slot 1 exam paper of MAH CET.

Although the number of RC questions was the same as day 1 MAH CET 2021, there were four passages. The paragraphs were challenging to read and often with Imaginary questions.

There were familiar question types in the Verbal Ability section.

Most Verbal Ability questions are easy and can be answered quickly with high accuracy.
Abstract Reasoning

There were about 25 questions in the AR section.

There were questions on analogies, series completion, and the odd man out like in slot 1 exam analysis of MAH CET.

In slot 1 also, questions on 'paper folding' made a comeback.

There was 1 question that combined multiple odd-man-out questions. That was somewhat complex but all other questions in the Abstract Reasoning section were rather easy.
Logical Reasoning
-
Questions on Logical Reasoning were dominated by questions on non-VR. There were about 50 to 55 questions on Non-VR and 20 questions on Verbal Reasoning.

Out of the 55 questions on Non-Verbal Reasoning, 40 questions were set based and there were 15 standalone questions.

There were no questions on Sequential Output/ Selection Criteria

The VR questions were in the moderate difficulty range.
What after the MAH CET 2021 exam
MAH CET 2021 day three will be held tomorrow, September 18, from 9 am to 11:30 pm. Candidates appearing for the exam can check this MAH CET day 1 and 2 analysis to have an idea about the exam and prepare accordingly. MAH CET 2021 hall ticket must be carried with a valid photo id to the test centre for seeking entry and other verification purposes.
