Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2026: CAP, quota round 1 form filling starts today; allotment on May 23

The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department will start the part 1 and 2 application form filling for Maharashtra FYJC admissions 2026 CAP and quota from today, May 21. Students can apply for Maharashtra FYJC admission 2026 round 1 on the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in.

The last date for Maharashtra FYJC admission 2026 round 1 CAP and quota form filling is May 22 till 5 pm. Earlier, the Maharashtra board announced that there would be three regular rounds, a fourth 'Open to All' round, and a special fifth round for girls.

Students will have to enter college preferences, and they will also be given chances to modify their options during different rounds of FYJC admissions 2026.

As per the tie-breaking criteria, admission to Class 11 will be granted strictly based on Maharashtra SSC scores, with merit determined using the best five subjects. In the event of a tie, preference will be given in the following order: higher marks in the qualifying examination, older age as per date of birth, and then alphabetical order of names.

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2026: How to apply?

The steps for Maharashtra FYJC round 1, part 1 and 2 form filling are shown in the table below.

Online Application Form Filling (Part I)

• Visit the official website at mahafyjcadmissions.in.
• On the homepage, click on “Student Registration” button to access the admission form.
• Enter required information and click on the “Register” button.
• Verify akk the details for accuracy.
• The application number and login ID will be displayed on the screen and will be sent to your registered mobile number.
• Click the 'Proceed to Login' button. Enter your login ID, password, and captcha, then click the login button.
• Once logged in, the student dashboard and progress of the Part 1 application form will be visible.
• Review each section, make required changes, and then click 'Save & Next'.
• Upload required documents (document should be equal to or less than 1MB in size).
• After submitting documents, pay the application fee through any preferred method.
• After fee payment, lock the application form to prevent further changes and review all details before locking.
• Within two days, the application form will be confirmed by the secondary school or guidance centre. If not, contact the Guidance Centre.
• Keep an eye on application progress in phases and take a printed copy for record-keeping.
• If no longer interested, withdraw the application from the Maharashtra 11th admission process.

Step 2: Online Preference Form Filling (Part II)

• Visit the official website.
• Enter your login ID and password, choose a security question, and provide its answer.
• New registration page open. Complete the registration process.
• Enter all required details.
• Upload the necessary documents.
• Include the Maharashtra board Class 10 marks.
• Enter your preferences and submit the form.

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2026 Round 1 Dates

As per the schedule for Maharashtra CAP and quota round 1 admissions 2026, the seat allotment process will begin on May 23 to 26. The allotment list will be displayed on May 26, along with cutoff ranks for junior colleges. The document verification and admission confirmation will be held from May 26 to 28. The list of vacancies for Class 11 admissions will be displayed on May 29, and round 2 dates will be announced on May 30.
