Maharashtra Board HSC 2027 application form dates announced; fees, photo guidelines

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the schedule and instructions for submitting applications for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination, February-March 2027. As per the notice, regular students will be submitted through the SARAL system using the PFN-ID generated 2025-26.

The board will use data available through the FYJC online system for filling the applications. Students from MCVC and ITI streams whose data is not available on FYJC online will have to provide the required information to the respective divisional board.

As per the notice, for regular applications, the prescribed fee can be paid and applications submitted from August 14 to October 31, 2026. Applications submitted with a late fee will be accepted from November 1 to November 15, while an additional late fee will apply from November 16 to November 30, 2026.

Maharashtra Class 12 Application 2027: Photo upload guidelines

Students will have to upload a recent colour passport-size photograph while filling the application. The photograph must be in JPG format and its size should be between 25 KB and 40 KB. The board has specified that the photograph should have been taken within the previous six months.

The photograph should clearly show the student's face, with both eyes and ears visible. The board has also specified requirements concerning the background, appearance and image quality.

Students with APPAR ID have been instructed to mention it while filling the application. Repeater students, private candidates with an enrollment certificate and eligible students from vocational and other specified categories will also have to submit the applications online as per the prescribed schedule.
