Eligible candidates can apply for BSc and BTech programmes through the official website at cetcell.mahacet.org by July 25.

The Maharashtra CET cell has opened the applications for admission to various BSc agricultural courses such as BSc (Hons) agriculture, horticulture, forestry, BFSc fisheries science, social science. agribusiness management.
Moreover, the cell has also offered BTech courses in agricultural engineering , including BTech in food technology.
“The four-year professional degree courses are taught in nine faculties under four agricultural universities in the state. The first-year admission capacity in 195 agricultural colleges in the state is 17,586,” according to an official notification.
Agricultural Engineering, Biotech Admissions 2026: Eligibility, process
It will be mandatory for students to scan and upload the necessary documents and certificates along with the application.
The eligibility criteria for admission to agricultural programmes states that except for the faculty of agricultural engineering, the admission eligibility for the degree courses of all other faculties includes MHT-CET or JEE as well as NEET Common Entrance Examination.
However, the results of the NEET Common Entrance Examination have not been declared yet. Hence, since it is also necessary to start the degree admission process on time, the provisional schedule for the degree admission process for the year 2026-27 has been announced, the notification read.
“The detailed schedule of all the processes like interim merit list, online complaint registration, final merit list, publication of available seats, admission allotment rounds, center-wise centralized admission round, college-level admission round, institution-level admission process and admission round etc. will be announced after the results of NEET Common Entrance Examination are announced,” it added.
