The Maharashtra school education board will close the round 1 registration for Maharashtra First-Year Junior College (FYJC) admissions 2025 at 2 pm. The board will also release the Maharashtra Class 11 admission 2025 provisional list today.
The board will accept the submission of objections for correction for the merit list from June 6 to 7. The Class 11 final merit list will be released on June 8. A total of 10,85,851 have registered for the Class 11 admission as of June 2.
Students applying for Class 11 admission also faced many difficulties while registering for admission. The board recently clarified in a notification that students who have faced any difficulty due to repeated ‘website crash’, while registering, their issues will be resolved before the final merit list is declared.
Students will be able to raise their complaints after the first provisional merit list is released, their complaints will be resolved, and the final merit list will be declared after resolving all the complaints raised.
Recently, in a change of admission rules, the state government allowed minority institutes to surrender the vacant reserved seats after the first round of admission, and the junior colleges to fill those seats under the in-house quota. Previously, the colleges could not surrender seats until the completion of all three rounds of Class 11 admission registration 2025.
Additionally, the school education department has increased the scope for 10% for the in-house quota to include the schools run by the same educational institutions in a particular district. Earlier, students were able to apply for an in-house quota if their schools had junior colleges.
Maharashtra FYJC admission 2025 is held for all institutions affiliated to the Maharashtra board. Students or their parents can apply for Class 11 admission on the official website, mahafyjcadmissions.in.
