Maha FYJC Admission 2025: Repeated site crash, unresponsive helpline numbers leave aspirants in limbo

Chaos has gripped Maharashtra FYJC admission 2025 as students are still complaining of technical glitches, unresponsive helpline numbers, lack of support – leaving many aspirants in limbo. After delaying the process of Maharashtra Class 11 admissions 2025 citing website maintenance, the government finally commenced the registration for the First-Year Junior College admissions on the official portal, mahafyjcadmissions.in.

Guardians have voiced concern over their wards’ inability to register while students expressed helplessness over repeated website crashes and unanswered queries.

2,58,887 students applied on the first day for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) 2025 for 18.74 lakh seats in Class 11, director of education and chairman, state-level admission monitoring committee, Mahesh Palkar informed recently.

The junior college teachers have been demanding an offline 11th registration process for at least the students of rural areas arguing that the online procedure is causing financial and educational losses.

Hours after opening the Maha FYJC admissions portal 2025, the state education department took the website down to make it mobile-friendly and fix technical issues.

Sharing a screenshot of his niece’s mail wherein she shared inability to register, a professor at Khalsa College Mumbai asked, “Dear Devendra Fadnavis, Dada Bhuse, unable to register for FYJC Admission and no one picks helpline number, called more than 100 times, mailed to support 3 times but no reply. How will my niece go to college if there is no help?

An X user, who also shared the screenshot of the official portal showing error, posted, “Bravo Digital India, the website for FYJC admission in Maharashtra is keeping the glory of a government website. The website fails constantly.”

Another X user demanding resolution of the issue wrote, “The Maharashtra FYJC admission portal is so lousy; Nobody picks up calls on the 'Helpline' number, I could imagine the nightmare that people not so well-versed with computers might be going through. Kindly resolve.”

“It is unreal that the FYJC website is still not working properly. I have been trying to complete the application process for days and it is always down. You cannot even get a basic setup right year on year. Highly shameful,” remarked another user.

“What a pathetic process for filling up the Maharashtra FYJC CAP admission process. The portal crashes again and again,” said an aspirant.

“Getting Maharashtra FYJC admission has become a nightmare. The site stops halfway. When you retry it doesn't allow entry. Helpline puts you on music and then cuts you off. Kindly help!” posted another.
