Students can apply for admission from July 20 to July 26, 2021. The Maharashtra CET test will be held on August 21, 2021, to ensure uniformity and comparability in the admission round.

Maharashtra school education minister, Varsha Gaikwad tweeted, โ€œCET (optional) for admissions to #FYJC will be held on August 21. The entrance test is to ensure uniformity & comparability in #FYJC #admissions & to ensure fair play for students across all boards.โ€

How to apply for Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021

Follow the steps to apply for admission Maha CET FYJC 2021.

  • Go to the Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021 official website,

  • Now, from the dropdown menu, select the โ€˜Board Type.โ€™

  • Fill in all asked details required to register.

  • Select details of examination centres like district and others.

  • Upload photo, signature, and other required documents.

  • After completing all formalities, submit the form.

  • Save or take print of Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021 application form for future use.

Check exam pattern of Maharashtra FYJC CET 2021

  • The question paper will be of 100 marks based on the Class 10th curriculum of the state board.

  • The exam will be available in 8 mediums, students can notify the medium in their application forms.

  • The exam will be held offline in MCQ format.

  • Equal weightage out of the 100 marks will be for questions from the subjects of English, Maths, Science and Social Sciences.

  • Questions won't be asked from topics that were omitted from the curriculum in 2020-21.

Earlier, the Maharashtra government has announced that the dates of the optional Common Entrance Test (CET) will be announced after the Maharashtra Class 10 SSC results 2021.
