Maharashtra extends FYJC admission 2021 on FCFS basis till October 21: Gaikwad

Maharashtra school education minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that the education department is giving another opportunity to students.

NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra government has extended the FYJC admission 2021 on First Come First Serve (FCFS) basis till October 21, school education minister Varsha Gaikwad announced on social media.

“Congratulations to all those who have secured admissions under the Centralised Online Admission to #FYJC.Here's another opportunity for those yet to secure one.We are extending the ongoing admissions on FirstCome,FirstServed (FCFS) basis till October 21.Details below,” Varsha Gaikwad said in a social media post.

Earlier, the education department conducted a round of first-come-first-serve FYJC admissions 2021 for the vacant seats from September 28 to October 14. More than 3 lakh students secured admission under the centralised online admission to FYJC.

Around 3,00,015 seats have been filled after the special round in 1,496 colleges. The first round of FCFS admissions was held for the vacant 2,34,135 seats.

Maharashtra FYJC admission 2021: First-come-first-serve eligibility

  • All Application Form Part-1 Verified Students are eligible for FCFS.
  • Students who are not admitted in any college, in any round conducted so far.
  • Students who have cancelled their admission or rejected admission till now.
  • Class 10 passed and/or supplementary exam passed (After Result) students.
  • Students who have got ATKT in Maharashtra SSC examination.
  • Students can apply in respective category of FCFS round based on their merit marks.

The third merit-list for Maharashtra FYJC admission 2021 was declared on September 13, while the first cut-off list was released on August 27.
