Maharashtra NEET PG 2023 CAP-3 postponed due to delay in MCC AIQ 3rd round counselling result

The MCC informed that further actions for NEET PG round 3 counselling 2023 allotment result will be notified on mcc.nic.in soon.
NEW DELHI: State Common Entrance Test Cell has postponed the Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 counselling 2023 schedule till further notice. The decision to postpone Maharashtra NEET PG Centralized Admission Process, CAP-round 3, was taken due to the delay in the declaration of NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) counselling round 3 results by the MCC.
The Medical Counselling Committee ( MCC ) yesterday said that “further action for round-3 will be put up soon” on the official website, mcc.nic.in. The MCC NEET PG round 3 seat allotment result 2023 was scheduled to be declared on September 16, however, there was no update till September 19.
Meanwhile, medical aspirants started demanding a reduction in the NEET PG qualifying cut-off percentile for the AIQ counselling. Doctors body had also written to the Union health minister requesting him to consider revising the NEET PG cut-off 2023.
The Maharashtra NEET PG CAP-3 seat matrix was scheduled to be out on September 21 and choice filling process was slated from September 23.

“In view of the delay in Declaration of Round 3 of AIQ counselling by Medical Counselling Committee, New Delhi and in spirit of the schedule for State Counselling declared by National Medical Commission, New Delhi the Competent Authority has decided to postpone the schedule for CAP Round - 3 of NEET-PG & NEET MDS 2023 until further notice,” the Maharashtra CET cell said in the latest notice.
The Maharashtra NEET PG round 3 schedule announced earlier stands cancelled, it added. New revised schedule for the upcoming state NEET PG counselling will be published soon on the official website, cetcell.net.in/NEET-PGM-2023.
