Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 round 1 registration last date extended to October 16

NEW DELHI: The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) has again extended the deadline for submitting application for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 round 1. Eligible candidates will be able to register for Maharashtra NEET PG round 1 counselling 2024 till October 16 through the official website, medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-PGM-2024/.

“The online registration for admission to post graduate medical courses was completed on 06/10/2024. This office received requests from candidates regarding extension for registration. Hence, considering the academic interest of the candidates the State CET Cell has decided to extend online registration,” the CET Cell said.

The Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 registration window will be closed on October 16 and the fee payment facility will be made available till October 17.

A total of 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats in the government and corporation medical colleges will be filled based on the merit list of NEET PG 2024. The Supreme Court will resume hearing on a petition seeking transparency in the NEET PG exam at the end of October.

Applicants will have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 3,000. Those who are applying for government medical colleges without constitutional reservation will have to deposit Rs 25,000 and those applying through quota will have to pay Rs 12,500. On the other hand, all candidates applying for both government and private medical colleges will have to pay Rs 1 lakh.
