The English exam will be conducted in the morning shift from 11 am to 2 pm. Students can download their exam hall tickets from the official website of Maharashtra board at mahahsscboard.in.

To clear the exam, students must score at least 35% in each subject and overall. Students who fail in one or more subjects will benefit from the board's grace marks, which will allow them to pass by two or three marks.
The MSBSHSE will hold the Maharashtra SSC (Class 10) Board Exam 2026, with a total of 16,15,489 students taking part. These students include 8,65,740 boys, 7,49,736 girls, and 13 transgender. There will be 23,683 schools participating in the examinations, which are scheduled at over 5,100 testing centers around the state.

Maharashtra SSC Class 10 English board exam 2026: Paper pattern
The Maharashtra SSC Class 10 English exam follows a structured marking scheme designed to assess students’ reading, grammar, and writing abilities along with oral performance.
The written test includes Reading Skills (textual), which carries 20 marks, and Reading Skills (non-textual), which also carries 20 marks. Grammar is allotted 15 marks, while writing skills carry the highest share in the written section with 25 marks. In addition to the written test, internal assessment is conducted through oral tests, which carry 20 marks. Altogether, the English exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks, combining both written and internal assessment components.
