Maharashtra SSC Maths Paper 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will conduct the SSC Class 10 Maths Part 1 (Algebra) examination today, March 6. The exam will be conducted in the morning session from 11 am to 1 pm across the state.

To clear the Maharashtra SSC board exam, students must secure at least 35% marks in each subject. The board follows a combined evaluation system for mathematics, meaning candidates are not required to pass part 1 and part 2 separately. Instead, the final result is calculated by adding marks obtained in Maths Part 1, Maths Part 2, and the internal assessment.
Students who fall short by 2–3 marks may be granted grace marks to help them meet the minimum passing requirement of 35 percent.

The maths part 1 paper carries 40 marks and focuses entirely on the Algebra portion of the syllabus. The class 10 Algebra syllabus includes the following chapters:
Linear Equations in Two Variables: Graphical solutions and Cramer’s Rule.
Quadratic Equations: Methods such as factorisation, completing the square, and quadratic formula.
Arithmetic Progression: Calculating the nth term and the sum of the first n terms.
Financial Planning: Basic understanding of GST and shares.
Probability: Fundamental concepts, events, and sample space.
Statistics: Measures such as mean, median, mode, along with histograms and pie charts.
The overall 100 marks for Mathematics are divided into three components:
Mathematics Part 1 (Theory – Algebra): 40 marks
Mathematics Part 2 (Theory – Geometry): 40 marks
Internal Assessment: 20 marks
Candidates appearing for the Maharashtra SSC Maths Part 1 Exam 2026 are advised to carefully follow the instructions issued by the MSBSHSE board to ensure smooth entry and avoid any inconvenience on the exam day.
Reporting Time: Candidates should reach the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the exam begins (for example, by 10:30 am for an 11 am exam).
Required Documents: Students must bring their SSC hall ticket 2026 along with a valid school identity card. Entry to the examination hall will not be permitted without these documents.
