To clear the Maharashtra SSC board exam, students must secure at least 35% marks in each subject. The board follows a combined evaluation system for mathematics, meaning candidates are not required to pass part 1 and part 2 separately. Instead, the final result is calculated by adding marks obtained in Maths Part 1, Maths Part 2, and the internal assessment.

Students who fall short by 2–3 marks may be granted grace marks to help them meet the minimum passing requirement of 35 percent.

Maharashtra SSC Class 10 Maths 2026: Algebra chapters

The maths part 1 paper carries 40 marks and focuses entirely on the Algebra portion of the syllabus. The class 10 Algebra syllabus includes the following chapters:

The overall 100 marks for Mathematics are divided into three components:

  • Mathematics Part 1 (Theory – Algebra): 40 marks
  • Mathematics Part 2 (Theory – Geometry): 40 marks

MSBSHSE Class 10 Maths Part 1: Key Guidelines
