Maharashtra TET 2025 registration from September 15; notification out on mahatet.in

MAHATET 2025 will be held on November 23 in two sessions for Classes 1 to 5 and Classes 6 to 8. The admit card will be issued on November 10.
The Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE), Pune, has issued the notification for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHATET) 2025. The council will open the registration window for MAHATET 2025 on September 15. Eligible candidates will be able to register for the Maharashtra TET 2025 till October 3, though the official website at mahatet.in.
As per the notification, the MAHATET 2025 exam will be conducted on November 23. The test will be held in two sessions on the same day. Paper 1, for teaching positions in Classes 1 to 5, will be held from 10:30 am to 1 pm. Paper 2, for teaching positions in Classes 6 to 8, will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.
Candidates who wish to appear for both levels can select the combined option in a single application form. The notification states that passing the Maharashtra TET is mandatory for recruitment to teaching posts in aided, unaided, and permanently unaided schools under all managements and boards.

Ban on candidates from MAHATET 2018, 2019
According to the official notification, candidates involved in malpractice in MAHATET 2018 and 2019 have been permanently barred from appearing in the examination, as per office orders dated August 3, 2022, and October 14, 2022.
“Their candidature is cancelled, and they cannot apply for MAHATET 2025. If any such barred candidate applies with false information, strict legal action will be taken,” the official notification said.
The council has directed candidates to upload a scanned colour photograph, scanned signature, self-declaration form and a valid identity proof while filling the online form. MAHATET 2025 admit card will be issued on November 10 on the websites at mahatet.in and mscepune.in
The details, such as application fee, eligibility, syllabus, question papers, evaluation, and results, will be available soon on the official website. The council further states that no documents are required to be submitted offline, and candidates will be provisionally allowed to appear for the test.
