MET 2026 round 1 seat allotment result out for BTech admission; pay fee by June 15

The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) has announced the phase 1 seat allotment result for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2026 counselling. The allotment is for admission to various undergraduate, postgraduate, and integrated programs (such as BTech, MTech, BBA, and MBA) across their campuses. Candidates can check the MET seat allotment 2026 on the official website, counseling.manipal.edu.

To download the MAHE MET 2026 seat allotment result, candidates do not need to enter any login credentials. The seat allotment result is available in PDF format and includes the campus-wise MET cutoff ranks after Round 1.

As per the MET 2026 counselling schedule , candidates who have been allotted seats must pay the first instalment of the course fee of Rs 2,90,000 between June 8 and June 15, 2026. The second instalment of the course fee must be paid as per the fee structure mentioned in the BTech counselling brochure by June 20, 2026.

Failure to pay the fee within the specified deadline will result in cancellation of the allotted seat and forfeiture of the Rs 10,000 waitlist deposit.

MET Counselling 2026: Round 1 cut-offs

According to the MET counselling round 1 cutoff list, BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at MIT Manipal emerged as the most competitive programme, closing at rank 3,441. BTech Mathematics and Computing closed at rank 2,821, making it the programme with the lowest closing rank among the courses listed.

For MIT Bengaluru, the round 1 closing rank for BTech CSE stood at 10,206, while Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) closed at 10,410 and Mathematics and Computing at 10,397.

Among other popular programmes at MIT Manipal, Computer Science and Financial Technology closed at rank 3,629, Electronics and Communication Engineering at 3,695, Electrical and Electronics Engineering at 6,437, Aeronautical Engineering at 6,755, and Electronics Engineering at 7,501.

Candidates who are not happy with their seat allotment can try to upgrade their seat by taking part in the second round of counselling. MET 2026 Round 2 registration and choice filling will be open from June 17 to 18. Both new applicants and those already registered can participate in Round 2 counselling.
