MBBS Admissions: NEET UG 2026 application form closing soon; document specification

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the NEET UG 2026 application window on March 8 for candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS and other medicine programmes. Eligible applicants can register for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2026 through the official website at neet.nta.nic.in.

The testing agency will host the NEET UG 2026 correction facility for registered candidates from March 10 to 12. The college entrance test will be conducted on May 3 on a single shift. The pen-and-paper NEET UG 2026 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.

The NEET UG 2026 exam pattern comprises questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany and Zoology). The exam will be held for a total of 360 marks and 180 questions.

There will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) for which candidates will get four marks for each correct answer, whereas one mark will be deducted for each wrong response.

Notably, as per the NTA’s advisory, candidates should have to update their Aadhaar Card, UDID Card and Category certificate before applying for the NEET UG 2026.

• Scanned Signature of candidate.
• Thumb impression.
• Valid mobile number.
• Class 10, 12 marks, percentage.
• Government ID proof.
• Citizenship certificate
• Embassy certificate
