The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has announced the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination 2026-27 schedule. The MBOSE Class 10 theory examinations will commence on December 4, 2026, and continue until December 16.

The first paper will be English on December 4, followed by Science on December 7. The exams will be conducted in the 10 am to 1 pm session, except for vocational subjects, for which the theory paper will be held for one hour from 10 am to 11 am.
According to MBOSE, examination halls will open at 9:30 am. MBOSE SSLC question papers will be distributed at 9:45 am, followed by answer scripts at 9:50 am. Candidates will begin writing the examination at 10 am. Check the complete subject-wise schedule below.

The Indian Languages paper scheduled for December 9 will include Garo, Khasi, Hindi, Bengali, Assamese, Nepali, Urdu and Mizo, according to the examination programme.
Students who have opted for vocational subjects will appear for subjects including Beauty and Wellness, Tourism, Health Care, Electronics, Agriculture, ITES, Apparels, Plumbing, Food Processing, Telecom, Banking and Automobile Repair.
The board said these vocational subjects are offered in lieu of computer science or health and physical education.
The board has also stated that the examination schedule may be changed if any unforeseen situation or important announcement from the state or central government coincides with the scheduled examination dates.

The programme is being conducted at Leh, Nubra (two places), Shams, Zanskar, Kargil, Drass, Changthang, Sankoo and Chiktan, to strengthen students' subject understanding, prepare them for the board exams.
