MCC removes 2 seats from NEET PG special stray vacancy round counselling 2024

NEW DELHI: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has removed two seats from the seat matrix of the special stray vacancy round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET PG) counselling 2024. The committee received information from the institutes for withdrawal of seats. Candidates can check the removed seats before filling choices at mcc.nic.in.

Rana Beni Madhav Singh Hospital has removed a general medicine seat in Scheduled Tribe (ST) category while Nalanda Medical College has removed an MS ENT seat in ST category.

“The seats mentioned above for withdrawal will be removed from the Seat Matrix before allotment process of Special Stray Vacancy of PG Counselling 2024,” MCC said in an official notice.

The committee started the registrations for the MCC NEET PG 2024 counselling special stray vacancy round for 733 clear vacancies. As per the schedule, registered candidates can fill choices of courses and colleges till March 10.

MCC announced the NEET PG special stray vacancy round after the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) further reduced the NEET PG cut-off 2024 to 5th percentile.
