MCC NEET PG 2025 round 2 final allotment out; report to college by Dec 25

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the MCC National Eligibility - cum - Entrance Test (NEET PG) 2025 counselling round 2 seat allotment result. Candidates can now download the NEET PG round 2 allotment on the official website, mcc.nic.in.

As per the NEET PG counselling 2025 schedule, candidates will have to report to the allotted college by December 25. The verification of joined candidates and the data sharing last date is December 26.

Candidates are allotted seats based on their choices entered, NEET PG ranks, choice filling process, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors.

MCC NEET PG counselling 2025 round 2 registrations will begin on January 15 till January 18. The round 2 allotment results will be declared on January 21, and candidates will have to report to the allotted college by January 31.

MCC NEET PG Counselling 2025 Seat Matrix

Recently, MCC has updated the seat matrix by adding 540 seats after candidates resigned from their seats. MCC also added 135 new PG medical seats, making the total number of seats 32,215.

The counselling committee updated the seat matrix by adding 540 seats after resignations, removing 117 duplicate seats and adjusting 18 seats after the AFMS quota changes. Additionally, a total of 218 applicants were provisionally transferred from the Indian category to the NRI quota seats.

As per the newly-added seats by MCC, West Bengal saw the largest addition of 46 seats, including in North Bengal Medical Colleges.

After West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh recorded the second-highest increase, with 20 new seats added across three medical colleges—six at Government Medical College, Shivpuri; two at Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College; and 12 at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College, Jabalpur.

In Maharashtra, all 10 additional seats were sanctioned at Government Medical College, Nandurbar, while Karnataka’s Haveri Institute of Medical Sciences received approval for 10 new seats.
